About Me
I am Iddrisu Salifu, an ambitious and purpose driven Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), passionate about building innovative solutions that solve real-world problems and improve lives.
In 2025, I was recognized as Innovator of the Year at the KsTU SRC Excellence Awards during the university’s 70th Anniversary celebration. This milestone reflects my commitment to turning ideas into impactful solutions and using technology as a tool for change.
I am the founder of Salif Innovation CircuitCrafters (Salif.ICC), a student-led innovation hub focused on developing practical and scalable solutions in automation, smart systems, energy, and environmental technology. My work spans projects such as smart irrigation systems, air quality monitoring systems, water purification solutions, and embedded system designs all aimed at addressing real societal and environmental challenges.
Beyond technical development, I am deeply committed to leadership, mentorship, and community impact. I have served in key roles including:

I have also participated in national innovation and engineering competitions, including the Energy Commission Renewable Energy Challenge, where I ranked among top innovators. My technical skills include programming (C, C++, Python), embedded systems (Arduino, ESP32), circuit design, and automation systems, combined with strong abilities in leadership, communication, and project development.
I am particularly interested in the intersection of engineering, data, and intelligent systems, and I am continuously developing my skills in machine learning and data-driven technologies to build smarter and more sustainable solutions.
At the core of my journey is a simple belief:
