About Me
I’m in the person of Iddrisu Salifu, an ambitious, creative, and purpose-driven engineering student at Kumasi Technical University, specializing in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. With a heart for innovation and a passion for impact, I believe in designing systems that don't just function but transform lives.
In 2025, I was honored as Innovator of the Year at the KsTU SRC Excellence Awards, during the university’s 70th Anniversary. This recognition celebrates the journey of a young dreamer who turned ideas into action, and passion into purpose. It marks a milestone in my ongoing mission to harness the power of technology to solve real-world problems.
I am the founder of Salif Innovation CircuitCrafters (Salif.ICC) a growing student innovation hub focused on building practical solutions in automation, energy, smart systems, and education technology. From smart irrigation systems to Arduino-powered devices and fingerprint-based attendance projects, I use my knowledge to create tech that is simple, scalable, and impactful.
My work extends beyond circuits and code. I’ve served as:
President of the Robotics Club – guiding peers in building and showcasing projects
GMSA Organizer – promoting student development and unity
House Prefect – leading over 150 students with discipline and vision
STEM Instructor & Arduino Trainer – empowering the next generation with hands-on skills
I've had the privilege of representing my school in competitions like the Energy Commission Renewable Energy Challenge, placing among the top innovators in the country. My skills span from programming (C++, Python) to circuit design, project leadership, and public speaking.
At the heart of everything I do is this belief:
Innovation is not about waiting for the future — it’s about creating it.
Whether I’m teaching, building, leading, or learning, my goal is the same — to engineer a future that is smarter, more sustainable, and inclusive.
Welcome to my journey. Let’s innovate together
